Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive venue recce and site assessments
- Manage and coordinate event production from planning to execution
- Oversee stage construction, lighting, and sound system setup
- Coordinate event decor installation and design implementation
- Recruit, manage, and supervise event staff and labor teams
- Handle load-in/load-out operations and equipment management
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and technical teams
- Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective operations
- Provide on-site event supervision and real-time problem solving
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Core Skills:
- 3-5 years experience in event production management
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Crisis management and problem-solving under pressure
- Budget management and vendor relationship skills
Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of audio-visual equipment and lighting systems
- Knowledge of stage construction and rigging basics
- Familiarity with event decor setup and installation
- Safety protocols and regulatory compliance awareness
Personal Attributes:
- Ability to work extended hours including overnight shifts
- Physical stamina for long event days (12-16 hours)
- Mental resilience for high-pressure situations and sleepless nights
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular schedules
- Strong communication skills in Hindi, Gujarati, and English
- Local knowledge of Ahmedabad/Gujarat vendor networks
