Event Rental Delivery Driver/Installer

An Event Installer/Driver is a key & leading position with the Premiere Party Rents team! You are responsible for ensuring that your truck & route is loaded, unloaded, installed and picked up properly while leading your crew/team members in a professional manner. You must adhere to all company policies and ensure that your team members do as well.

*PLEASE NOTE: MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE DRIVING UP TO 26' BOX TRUCKS

Essential job functions and duties of Event Installer/Driver include but are not limited to:
-Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and trucks
-Supervise and assist in the loading and unloading of event rental equipment of the trucks, deliveries, and on-site installations
-Check for the accuracy of inventory & products that are delivered and picked up
-Lifting, carrying and setting up event rental equipment that includes but is not limited to: tables, chairs, tenting, lighting, flooring, linen, kitchen equipment and more.
-Maintain a professional relationship with clients at all times and ensure client satisfaction
-Ensure crews are taking breaks at appropriate break/lunch times
-This job does require employees to walk with equipment or pull/push equipment on dolly's/cart based on location of event.

This position requires that the employee:
-Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a record that meets insurance policy requirements
- Is able to safely operate trucks ranging from pick up trucks up to 26’ box trucks with lift gates
- Must adhere to all transportation laws while driving company vehicles
- Leads crew efficiently while respectfully teaching and guiding crews to successfully accomplish tasks/routes
- Efficiently follows routes and timed schedules, stays on task
-Ability to read and understand diagram layouts to properly set up and install event equipment as well as orders to inventory equipment
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekdays, weekends, nights and overtime hours as needed
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus to communicate with team members & clients
- Must be comfortable working indoors, outdoors and in all types of weather conditions (cold, heat, rain, wind, ect.)
- This position does require the employee to lift equipment heavier than 50 lb as well as to stand, walk, squat, kneel, bend and twist while performing job duties.
- The job also demands the employee to be in sufficient cardiovascular health to have the endurance to perform these duties throughout their whole day of work.
- Maintain and manage truck maintenance and schedule notify supervisors of any service on a truck if required
- Making sure you and your team members are following all safety protocols to create a safe environment
- Knowledge of event equipment is a bonus but not a requirement!
