Fat Pants Brewing Company is seeking a highly organized, sales-minded Event Sales & Operations Manager to own our private events and catering program from start to finish. This role is responsible for the entire event lifecycle, including sales, planning, coordination, execution, and follow-up. This is a hands-on hospitality role ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, enjoys client-facing sales, and takes pride in executing seamless, high-quality events.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $37,440–$41,600 annually
- Plus commission and performance-based incentives

Position Overview:
The Event Sales & Operations Manager is the single point of accountability for all private events and catering at Fat Pants Brewing Company. From the first inquiry to the final breakdown, this role manages every detail to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong internal coordination, and profitable event execution.
This position balances sales generation, client relationship management, and operational leadership, while working closely with internal teams to bring events to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Event Ownership (Start to Finish)
- Own and manage the entire event process, from initial inquiry through execution and post-event follow-up
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all event and catering clients
- Ensure events meet brand standards, operational expectations, and financial goals
Event Sales & Client Management
- Respond to all event and catering inquiries via email, phone, and web
- Conduct site tours and discovery calls to qualify leads and convert bookings
- Prepare and send estimates, contracts, and payment authorization forms
- Secure deposits, track payments, and manage event timelines
- Follow up on leads and actively pursue rebooking and repeat business
- Develop new catering opportunities through outbound outreach and relationship building
Event Catering Planning and Execution
- Plan and execute all on-site events and off-site catering orders
- Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and floor teams to ensure smooth service
- Schedule event staffing and coverage
- Prepare event kits, signage, menus, décor, and operational materials
- Maintain inventory of event supplies, linens, and signage
- Submit requests for marketing and POS updates as needed
- Maintain clear internal communication through event rundowns and planning tools
Performance & Growth
- Track event volume, revenue, and booking performance
- Identify upsell opportunities and larger-scale catering bookings
- Support flagship and in-house events under leadership direction
- Gather client feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest experience
Qualifications
- Experience in event coordination, hospitality sales, or venue management
- Strong sales and client relationship skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple events simultaneously
- Tech-savvy and adaptable in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to be hands-on during event execution
