Event Server

Event Server: This is a tipped position, hourly rate is based off average weekly tips.

Duties:

- Greet and guide customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Set up and break down event buffets according to standard
- Take drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Check on customers throughout their experience to ensure satisfaction
- Clear and clean tables after customers have finished their meals
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a server in a restaurant, hotel, or coffee shop required
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail offerings
- Familiarity with POS systems (Toast) for order entry and payment processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
