Event Staff Table Side Server

Job Title: Table-Side Server – Luxury Event Staffing (New York Area)

Location: New York City, NY – multiple high‑end venues
Job Type: Part‑Time / On‑Call
Shift Length: 6–10 hours per event
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking polished, reliable, and professional Table-Side Servers to join our luxury event staffing team. Our clients host high-end weddings, corporate galas, and private celebrations across three premier New York–area venues. Ideal candidates deliver exceptional service with confidence, grace, and a strong client-facing presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional table-side service during high‑end events and weddings
• Maintain a polished, guest‑focused approach at all times
• Support cocktail hour setup and service, including tray passing and presentation
• Ensure tables, stations, and service areas remain clean and organized
• Assist with food running, plating support, and room transitions as needed
• Work collaboratively with event captains and fellow staff
• Follow all venue and client service standards

Qualifications

• Previous event staffing or fine-dining experience strongly preferred
• Strong customer-service mindset with excellent communication skills
• Professional appearance and ability to maintain composure in luxury environments
• Reliability, flexibility, and punctuality are essential
• Must be able to stand and move for 6–10 hour shifts
• Knowledge of menu terminology and cocktail-hour service etiquette a plus

Required Attire

• Black tuxedo pants (must be owned by the candidate)
• All other uniform items will be provided

Availability

• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and varying schedules based on event needs
• Must be able to travel to three designated event locations within the New York area (zip 10011)

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
