Event Videographer (Seasonal)

Overview

Quincy Moët Films is hiring event photographers and videographers for prom and wedding season.

This is a shooter-only position. You will be responsible strictly for capturing high-quality photo or video content on-site.

No editing or post-production is required.

This role is ideal for experienced creatives who are confident behind the camera and can deliver clean, professional footage in fast-paced event environments.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photo and/or video content at live events
• Film key moments, candid interactions, and overall event atmosphere
• Follow shot direction and coverage expectations provided prior to each event
• Ensure footage is properly exposed, in focus, and usable for post-production
• Deliver all raw files promptly after each event

Requirements

• Must shoot with a Sony camera system (A7, A7S, or similar)
• Must own a DSLR or mirrorless camera capable of professional results
• Must have reliable transportation (required — travel to multiple locations may be necessary)
• Prior experience shooting events (weddings, proms, parties, etc.)
• Ability to operate independently and maintain professionalism on-site
• Strong awareness of lighting, framing, and live-event timing

What This Role Is NOT

• No editing
• No color grading
• No post-production responsibilities

• Already shoots events and wants paid shooting opportunities without editing workload
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, real-time environments
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $150.00 per hour
