Events Art Director

We are seeking an experienced and visionary  Events Art Director  to join our team  full-time at our Abu Dhabi office . This role will lead the 3D Design team and act as the primary creative liaison with Project Managers. The Art Director will be responsible for driving the creative vision, ensuring design excellence, and maintaining alignment between client expectations, project objectives, and production realities.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership

• Lead and mentor the 3D Design team in developing innovative event concepts, stage designs, exhibitions, festivals, and experiential activations.
• Set and maintain high creative standards, ensuring designs reflect both brand identity and event objectives.
• Provide clear art direction, mood boards, and design references for pitches, proposals, and live projects.

Collaboration & Communication

• Serve as the  key creative contact for Project Managers , ensuring smooth communication between design and operations.
• Translate project briefs into actionable creative directions while balancing budgets, timelines, and client requirements.
• Attend project meetings, presentations, and client reviews to represent the creative team.

Project & Workflow Management

• Oversee all 3D visualizations, renders, and technical drawings before submission to clients or production.
• Work closely with Production, Technical, and Fabrication teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of design execution.
• Manage workload distribution within the 3D Design team, ensuring timely delivery of all design milestones.

Innovation & Research

• Stay updated with global event trends, design technologies, and new creative tools (AR/VR, interactive installations, etc.).
• Continuously inspire the design team with fresh ideas and innovative approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in event design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or art direction role.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality design for large-scale events, exhibitions, and festivals.
• Strong portfolio showcasing 3D event design, staging, and experiential projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D and design software (3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Ability to balance creativity with practicality and budget constraints.
