Events Barista

Sweet June Coffee is a boutique mobile coffee company based in Orange County, dedicated to creating elevated, memorable experiences through coffee. We specialize in weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings, offering a warm, engaging atmosphere with beautifully crafted espresso drinks.

Position overview

We’re seeking an experienced and reliable barista to join our team on a part-time, as-needed basis for private and corporate events. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, thrives in social environments, and delivers excellent customer service while representing the Sweet June Coffee brand with professionalism and charm.

This is a great fit for someone with a flexible schedule who enjoys working events across Southern California — from San Diego to Los Angeles — and wants to be part of a growing, creative brand.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks and other menu items at events.
• Set up, operate, and break down mobile espresso equipment efficiently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee cart and workspace.
• Provide friendly, engaging customer service while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment and supplies when needed.
• Represent Sweet June Coffee with professionalism, reliability, and enthusiasm.

Requirements

• 2+ years of barista experience (event or mobile coffee experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and drink consistency.
• Comfortable engaging with guests in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Southern California.
• Availability on weekdays (primarily mornings to afternoons) with occasional weekend flexibility.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working at weddings, corporate, or private events.
• Familiarity with mobile coffee setups (e.g., La Marzocco, Linea Mini, Flair, or similar).
• Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• A creative eye for presentation and passion for coffee culture.
