Role Overview


We are seeking an Events Business Development Executive with proven experience in the events industry to lead client acquisition, manage tenders and RFPs, and drive high-value business growth. This role requires someone with both sales expertise and creative insight, capable of winning major accounts, closing deals, and overseeing smooth event execution.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the events sector.
  • Lead and manage the full process for tenders, RFQs, and RFPs, ensuring competitive, high-quality submissions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at top companies and brands.
  • Leverage and expand existing client networks to accelerate business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling event solutions and creatives tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company targets.
  • Act as client lead during live event execution to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.


Requirements


  • Proven track record in business development or sales within the events industry.
  • Strong knowledge of tenders, RFQs, and RFP processes.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to convert client needs into unique event concepts.
  • Existing network of clients and ability to open doors with major accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • On-site event management experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and highly organized.
