EVS-Mother Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated EVS (Environmental Studies) teacher for Primary Classes (I and 2). The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate environmental science lessons that promote curiosity, awareness, and responsibility towards the environment among young learners.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans in line with the curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
• Use a variety of teaching methods (activity-based learning, storytelling, experiments, etc.) to make environmental concepts engaging and relatable.
• Foster an environment that encourages students to ask questions, explore, and think critically.
• Conduct assessments (oral/written) to evaluate student progress and understanding.
• Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment focused on student development.
• Organize field visits, nature walks, or eco-friendly activities/projects to enhance learning.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and progress reports.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and training sessions.
• Promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices within the school.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science/Environmental Science with B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education).
• Experience: 1-3 years of teaching experience at the primary level (freshers with passion and aptitude may also apply).
• Board Knowledge: Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum for Environmental Studies (EVS) for primary grades.
