EVS Technician (Housekeeper)

Position Title: Housekeeper/ EVS Technician

Location: GA, Stone Mountain, Park Springs LLC

Shift: 8 hour shift

Weekly day range: Monday to Friday, Weekend availability

Park Springs is currently seeking a professional for the role of Housekeeper, who possesses the ability to attend to our facilities with kindness, integrity and attention to detail. The Housekeeper is responsible for a variety of cleaning activities and expected to create a clean and orderly environment for our Members. This position will be based at Park Springs in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Essential Job Duties:

• Cleans and sanitizes members’ homes, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and assigned common areas.
• Performs dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing of surfaces and fixtures.
• Collects and disposes of trash and recyclables according to established procedures.
• Changes bed linens and restocks household supplies as needed.
• Performs deepcleaning tasks such as floor care, carpet extraction, and high dusting as assigned.
• Ensures proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Reports maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or needed repairs to supervisor.
• Responds promptly and courteously to member service requests.
• Assists with event setup, cleaning, and breakdown when needed.
• Helps in infection control efforts through proper cleaning practices and sanitization protocols.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemical safety preferred.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct and appearance.

Preferred

• Experience working in a healthcare, retirement housing, or assisted living environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Stand or walk for extended periods (up to 80% of the workday).
• Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb step stools/ladders.
• Operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, mops, carts, and floorcare equipment.
• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.
• May be exposed to wet floors or slippery conditions.
• May be exposed to varying indoor temperatures depending on work location.
• Must have manual dexterity for equipment use and completing assigned tasks.
