Heavy Equipment Operator/Foreman:

Overview: Supervise excavation activities and operate heavy machinery for site preparation, grading, and utilities installation. Oversee and supervise construction activities on-site, including scheduling and coordinating crews. Ensure safety and project standards are met. Benefits, 401k, and competitive wages/salary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee excavation work, including trenching and grading.
• Operate equipment like backhoes, bulldozers, and excavators.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on-site.
• Operate machinery to move materials, excavate trenches, and perform grading tasks.
• Work on tasks such as: Placing material to grade, install utility systems by excavating trenches with proper slopes or place shoring and trench boxes, load earth materials onto trucks using different pieces of equipment.
• Operates heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way, including knowledge of equipment functions, running, navigating, detects or assesses problems, mechanical aptitude, and driving

Skills:

• Experience with excavation equipment.
• Knowledge of drainage work, utilities, and excavation techniques.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong safety knowledge and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $50.00 per hour
