Excavation Laborer | Pipe Layer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Excavation Laborer - Pipe Layer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with excavation, and site preparation activities to ensure the successful completion of infrastructure projects. Duties

• Assist with excavation tasks using heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to prepare sites for pipe laying and construction activities
• Operate pipe lasers and other precision tools to ensure accurate pipe placement according to blueprints and specifications
• Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and other machinery to support site operations
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, plans, and utility locating maps to guide installation activities
• Conduct utility locating to identify underground pipes, cables, or other infrastructure before excavation begins
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to site protocols, inspecting equipment regularly, and participating in safety meetings

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction site work or pipeline projects is highly preferred
• Proficiency in heavy equipment operation including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, forklift, and front loader truck
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and utility locating techniques
• Skills in concrete finishing, welding, plumbing, and concrete forming are a plus
• Ability to operate specialized tools such as pipe lasers and perform precise measurements for pipeline installation
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid certifications in heavy equipment operation or safety training are beneficial but not mandatory

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
