Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in operating heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in handling excavators of various sizes for digging, trenching, grading, and site preparation across construction or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling tasks as per project requirements.
• Conduct routine inspection and maintenance checks of equipment before and after operation.
• Read and interpret construction plans or grade stakes to execute accurate digging and placement.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other operators to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards on job sites.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating excavators in construction or related industries.
• Valid Excavator Operator Certification/license (as per local regulations).
• Familiarity with GPS or laser-guided excavation equipment (preferred).
• Ability to read site plans, blueprints, and grading specifications.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and varied weather conditions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
