Excavator Transport -Concrete Delivery

Concrete 'Ready Mix' company looking for a TEAM-oriented individual to operate our volumetric concrete trucks and dump trucks.

Must possess a valid Class A CDL

Weekly schedule will vary based on workload and weather. A typical week will include a mix of the following:

Primary Responsibilities:

2-4 Days Per Week – Volumetric Concrete Truck Operation

• Operate and deliver concrete using a volumetric mixer truck (Site-Mix)
• Batch concrete on-site to meet customer specifications
• Follow delivery tickets to ensure accurate mix design and yardage
• Communicate with contractors and crews to ensure efficient pours
• Perform daily washout and truck clean-up procedures

1–2 Days Per Week – Dump Truck Operation

• Haul and deliver aggregate materials to job sites
• Load out and remove spoils (dirt, concrete, etc.) from sites
• Maintain clean and organized job sites during hauling operations

Occasionally

• Transport construction equipment (excavators, skid steers, etc.)
• Operate folding neck lowboy trailer safely and efficiently
• Load, secure, and unload equipment properly

Daily Expectations:

• Perform equipment maintenance (greasing, fueling, inspections)
• Maintain accurate driver logs and equipment movement records
• Track and report maintenance needs and repair items
• Represent the company professionally with customers and crews
• BE ABLE TO USE TECHNOLOGY AND ELECTRONICS

As Needed:

• Light equipment and small engine repairs (oil changes, hoses, pull cords, etc.)
• Assist with snow removal operations (plow trucks and salt spreaders)

Additional Details:

• No over-the-road travel or overnights (possibly 2–3 nights per year at most)
• W-2 position with paid overtime
• In-season: ~50 hours/week
• Off-season: 35–40 hours/week

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screening (no prior violations)

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience operating volumetric concrete trucks or dump trucks
• Heavy equipment operation experience
• Mechanical aptitude

Additional compensation available based on operator skill level and experience.

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
