We are currently seeking exceptional Home Health Aides (HHA) to join us. Summit has a private pay division serving Long Island. We are currently hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for Live-In and hourly cases, who are passionate about delivering excellent care and want to work with a company that values and supports its caregivers. You must be able to speak English FLUENTLY to be eligible for this position. If you have a car and can drive to your patients, that would be a plus.

Benefits:

• Starting Rate: $20 to $25 per hour, depending upon experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide health care services in patients' residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Accompany patients to doctor's appointments
• Assist with errands, as needed
• Help clients with personal care
• Monitor patients and report on their condition

Requirements:

• Active HHA Certification in the state of New York
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card & Work Authorization, if needed
• 2 Recommendation Letters
• Recent Physical
• TB Screening (Quantiferon preferred)
• Flu shot
• Rubella & Rubeola titer lab work
• Drug Screen no older than 6 months
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
