Job Overview

Sobel Tinari Economics Group assesses economic damages and provides financial valuation services to litigation attorneys, focusing on matters of personal injury, wrongful death, wrongful incarceration, and employment litigation. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Executive Assistant to join our team and provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Economist. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, and articulate, and will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional support in a fast-paced office environment. This role involves managing various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and communicating with attorneys and paralegals.

  • Manage the trial and deposition calendar, and coordinate meetings
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring efficient document management.
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys and paralegals in a professional and courteous manner
  • Email communications, phone calls, and written correspondence with clients and outside contacts
  • Provide client support by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Respond and follow up on client requests
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and improve office processes.
  • Coordinate firm meetings including, but not limited to, conference calls, zoom meetings and in-person meetings.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and urgent deadlines.
  • Assist with the coordination of the New Matter Intake process
  • Previous experience with the legal field desirable
  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and modern collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Dropbox)
  • Ability to understand legal and financial documents and organize them accordingly
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; able to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
  • Demonstrated willingness to take initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team environment with a client service focus.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet business needs

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
