Executive Administrative Assistant

KPEP is a community-based organization providing residential and non-residential services to male and female offenders. KPEP operates facilities in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, and Muskegon, Michigan. KPEP is seeking a detail-oriented Executive Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and human resources support to the executive leadership team. This is a full-time, in-person position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to executive leadership
  • Maintaining employee records and onboarding documentation
  • Scheduling interviews and assisting with portions of background checks
  • Assisting with Medicaid compliance and PIHP checks
  • Coordinating training materials and compliance-related activities
  • Preparing correspondence, organizing files, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies
  • Supporting daily office and operational needs

The ideal candidate must be organized, professional, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, confidentiality, and proficiency with office software and computer systems are essential.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
  • Previous office or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience with human resources support, compliance activities, or nonprofit operations is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
