Part-Time Executive Assistant & Events Coordinator (1099 Contractor)

Hours: 25–30 hours per week
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
About the Position
Idaho COBS is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
individual to support the Executive Director and assist with organizational
communications, events, and training coordination. This position is ideal for someone
who enjoys balancing administrative support, event planning, and social media
engagement while contributing to a mission-driven organization serving survivors.
Primary Responsibilities
Executive Assistant Support
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director.
- Manage scheduling, calendars, and meeting coordination.
- Assist with correspondence, document preparation, and record keeping.
- Support special projects and organizational initiatives.
Social Media & Communications
- Maintain and update social media platforms.
- Create and schedule content consistent with organizational messaging.
- Monitor engagement and assist with outreach efforts.
- Help promote events, trainings, and organizational activities.
Event & Training Coordination
- Coordinate logistics for trainings, workshops, meetings, and events.
- Manage registrations, venue communication, and attendee correspondence.
- Prepare materials and supplies for events and trainings.
- Attend and provide on-site support during trainings and events.
- Assist with post-event follow-up and evaluation activities.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience with social media platforms and content management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Event planning or coordination experience preferred.
- Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and Idaho COBS’ mission.
- Must successfully pass a background check prior to engagement.
Schedule
- Flexible schedule averaging 25–30 hours per week.
- Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for events and trainings.
- Some travel within Idaho may be required.
