Position Overview
This is a key role within our company, supporting both sales and operations. You will be responsible for generating leads, coordinating schedules, assisting with permitting, and helping keep our crews and projects running efficiently.
This position starts as remote (work from home) and will transition into an in-office role in Ocala, FL as the company grows.
Key ResponsibilitiesInside Sales & Lead Generation
- Make outbound calls to contractors, builders, and property owners
- Identify and pursue leads from county permitting websites
- Prospect new business opportunities and build relationships
- Set appointments for estimates, bids, and site visits
Scheduling & Operations
- Coordinate and maintain schedules for two active electrical crews
- Schedule jobs, service calls, and estimate appointments
- Communicate scheduling updates with field staff and customers
Administrative & Compliance
- Submit and track permits and licensing requirements
- Maintain organized records for projects and compliance
- Assist with documentation and internal reporting
Customer Service
- Handle inbound customer calls and inquiries professionally
- Provide updates, coordinate appointments, and ensure client satisfaction
Accounting & Payroll Support
- Manage invoicing and billing through QuickBooks
- Assist with weekly payroll submission
- Track payments and maintain accurate financial records
QualificationsRequired
- Strong communication and phone skills (sales confidence is key)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Self-motivated and able to work independently from home
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in construction, electrical, or marine industries
- Familiarity with permitting processes or county systems
- Inside sales or customer service experience
