About the Job
At Light Eagle, we believe that how you operate is as important as what you achieve. As a B Corp certified investment and financial operations firm, our work extends well beyond portfolio management, it reaches into environmental advocacy, civic leadership, industry-wide transformation initiatives, and cross-sector partnerships. We are looking for an Executive Assistant who is energised by that breadth.
You will support our Principal directly, a chair of an environmental fund, an impact leader within a major family business network, and the head of a digital transformation task force for Turkish business and industry. The role spans financial operations, civic engagements, fundraising events, international travel, and a wide and varied stakeholder landscape. One week per two-month cycle is dedicated to structured support of the Customer & Portfolio Manager, timed to coincide with peak reporting and client communication periods.
This is not a conventional EA role. You will be the operational backbone of a high-output, purpose-driven environment. The right person is someone who genuinely cares about people and the planet — and who finds energy, not exhaustion, in complexity and variety.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the Principal's calendar across all dimensions: investment operations, civic engagements, environmental initiatives, board commitments, and international travel
• Draft and manage correspondence in Turkish and English: emails, stakeholder communications, briefing notes, and follow-up summaries
• Prepare meeting packs, briefing documents, and travel logistics for domestic and international engagements
• Coordinate across the internal team: track open action items, manage follow-up, and maintain a shared task register
• Support the Principal's external roles: coordinate logistics for environmental fund activities, family business network events, and industry task force engagements
• Assist with fundraising events and multi-stakeholder gatherings: manage invitations, communications, scheduling, and on-site coordination as needed
• Maintain stakeholder contact records and relationship notes across a broad and diverse network
• Prepare materials, agendas, and post-meeting action summaries for civic and advocacy-related meetings
• Support Light Eagle's B Corp certification maintenance: assist with the periodic impact assessment data collection, coordinate responses to the B Impact questionnaire, and track documentation requirements across relevant teams
• Monitor B Corp recertification timelines and flag upcoming deadlines to the Principal
• During Customer Manager support rotations: assist with client communications, document management, and administrative follow-up on financial and reporting matters
• Manage vendor and service provider relationships: office logistics, subscriptions, travel, and external coordination
• Maintain organisational systems: filing, archiving, and document version control across entities and workstreams
Qualifications
• 3–6 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or a similar operational role, experience in professional services, NGOs, civic organisations, or impact-driven environments is particularly valued
• Genuine interest in sustainability, environmental advocacy, and social impact — this is not a checkbox; it is the context you will work in every day
• Strong organisational discipline: you maintain and improve systems, not just respond to requests
• Excellent written Turkish; solid working English for correspondence with international counterparts and civic networks
• Comfortable managing a wide variety of stakeholders — from institutional investors to environmental advocates to industry leaders
• Proactive by nature — you identify gaps before you are asked to fill them
• Highly discreet; exposure to confidential financial, personal, and organisational information is inherent to the role
• Tech-fluent: comfortable with calendaring platforms, shared document tools, and digital communication environments
• Familiarity with B Corp standards or ESG reporting frameworks is a plus; willingness to learn is essential
• German language skills are a welcome bonus
• Bachelor's degree preferred
