Executive Assistant

About the Role

J.A. Roberts Co. is a growing construction consulting firm based in Shelton, CT. We're looking for an experienced, highly organized Executive Assistant to support the President and keep day-to-day operations running without friction. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility — you'll touch everything from finances to recruiting to office management.

If you take pride in doing things right, work well in a fast-moving environment, and want to be a trusted right hand to a demanding principal, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the President's inbox, calendar, and correspondence
  • Bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable (NetSuite)
  • Payroll processing
  • Benefits administration
  • File and records organization
  • Data entry and document storage
  • Office management
  • Recruiting coordination

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in an executive assistant, operations, or office administrator role; professional services, construction, or small business experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented and self-directed — you catch things before they become problems
  • Comfortable working closely with a high-standards principal
  • Calm and competent under pressure
  • Professional, and discreet

NetSuite experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
