Executive Assistant – Credentialing, Accounting & Operations (Remote)

This role is fully remote but requires proactive communication, accountability, and the ability to manage complex administrative workflows with minimal oversight.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy Executive Assistant with strong credentialing, accounting, and banking experience. The ideal candidate is someone who has impeccable attention to detail, operates with urgency, and excels in supporting leadership across multiple administrative domains. This position is essential to our organization’s growth—your accuracy, follow-through, and professionalism will directly impact clinical operations and provider onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

Credentialing & Provider Management

  • Manage full-cycle credentialing for healthcare providers (applications, licensure tracking, expirable, compliance documents).
  • Maintain organized credentialing files using digital systems.
  • Liaison with facilities, payers, and providers to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

Accounting & Finance Support

  • Assist with invoicing, payroll preparation, expense tracking, and reconciliations.
  • Manage banking tasks, deposits, and financial document organization.
  • Support leadership with financial reporting and auditing preparation.

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Manage calendars, communication, and high-priority administrative workflows.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread documents using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Teams, Adobe, and AI tools.
  • Build and maintain SOPs, onboarding documents, and internal process checklists.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and confidential correspondence.

Technology & Workflow Competency

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, AI tools, and Copilot.
  • Able to work in HRIS/ATS systems, credentialing platforms, and cloud-based environments.
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly.

Qualifications

  • Required: Experience in healthcare credentialing (ASC, hospital, or staffing preferred)
  • Preferred: Accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Banking/financial administrative experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • High emotional intelligence and professional maturity
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Tech-savvy and resourceful problem-solver
  • Experience in healthcare staffing is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $55,000 – $67,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
