Executive Assistant – Strategic And Advisory

The Role
Working from prestigious offices in the heart of Dubai’s financial district, our client, a leading global professional services firm, are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant with strong project management background who can engage across the different areas of the business. The role supports the Managing Director in a highly strategic capacity, a business partner rather than a purely reactional EA. The role has two pivotal points of focus, external client engagement and assisting with advisory work and working strategically alongside the MD to manage and improve administrative and system processes and engage with the internal team. There will be considerable legal liaison on contracts and legal processes of the projects and attention to detail is vital. Additionally, there will be considerable interaction with the finance team, working together on project profitability, margins, costings, and forecasting. The position also interfaces with teams in the UK and USA and delivers monthly reporting into both countries on behalf of the MD and understands and appropriately delivers shareholder information. The EA will consistently look at opportunities to enhance client services and new business opportunities through research, and the successful applicant will be culturally, politically and business aware. We are seeking candidates who have excellent financial acumen and are highly analytical in their approach. You must be approachable with superb English language ability to native standard, both spoken and written, due to the legal and contract administration required in this role. Candidates must be able to communicate and present complex information in a variety of formats and structure succinct and informative reports to assist with strategic decision making. Additionally, advanced IT skills must be demonstrated; MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (Pivot tables and v and h look ups) and strong database ability. The successful applicant will have at least three years’ experience within a professional service, international environment in the UAE. Candidates must be able to show a stable career history with limited movement on their CV.
