Job Purpose
Support the Accounting Manager with daily operations at Contador Miami's office. Responsibilities include receiving, processing, and filing paperwork; attending to clients via phone, email, and in person; and using Leafnet as the primary client management platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role
- Minimum one year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial field
- Fluency in Spanish required; English proficiency strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
- Proven attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team
- Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the Accounting Manager — receive and screen phone calls and visitors, take messages, and route communications with professionalism and discretion
- Manage and maintain the Accounting Manager's calendar, schedule meetings, and send correspondence
- Perform accounting support duties including tax return preparation assistance and bookkeeping reviews
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases; prepare regular status reports
- Use Leafnet to place orders, process payments, complete projects, and document all client interactions
- Follow up on pending actions, services, and sales leads to ensure timely resolution
- Provide consistent communication to the accounting and sales teams to support an efficient internal workflow
- Handle document management tasks: printing, faxing, mailing, copying, scanning, filing, and emailing
- Compose and prepare professional correspondence and letters
- Coordinate with other staff members and departments as needed
- Place calls to government offices as required
- Assess and prioritize matters for the Accounting Manager; handle or redirect tasks as appropriate
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all company and client information in accordance with established policies
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the department head
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
