Our Chairman is deeply involved in global legal networks, business development, speaking engagements, and international initiatives. This role sits directly at the center of that activity.
The ideal candidate would be someone who thrives with autonomy, is organized, detail-oriented, self-managed who doesn’t need constant oversight, yet knows what it takes to accomplish tasks.
The Role (Read This Carefully)
We are not hiring a traditional assistant. We are looking for a trusted right hand to the Chairman, someone who can anticipate needs, manage complexity, and operate with sound judgment in a fast-moving, international environment.
You will be exposed to:
- High-level client relationships
- Cross-border business strategy
- International travel and operations
- Real-time decision-making
If you are looking for a routine administrative role, this is not it.
What You’ll Do:
Administration
- Manage a complex and constantly evolving calendar
- Coordinate domestic and international travel across multiple jurisdictions
- Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations
- Draft and manage professional correspondence
Business Support
- Track opportunities, follow-ups, and key relationship touchpoints
- Assist in maintaining and strengthening client and referral relationships
- Coordinate networking meetings, conferences, and follow-ups
- Support preparation of client-facing materials and presentations
International Coordination
- Coordinate with international legal partners and networks
- Assist with cross-border initiatives and expansion efforts
- Help organize leadership meetings
External Engagement
- Support speaking engagements, publications, and thought leadership initiatives
- Assist in organizing seminars, roundtables, and networking events
Execution & Organization
- Maintain clear systems for communication, projects, and documentation
- Ensure timely follow-up on commitments and deadlines
- Handle confidential information with a high level of discretion
What You Bring:
- German (preferred) or fluent German-speaking professional with strong written English and confident business communication
- Highly organized with the ability to manage complexity without becoming overwhelmed
- Proven experience managing executive calendars, inboxes, and competing priorities
- Strong decision-making ability, you can prioritize and move things forward independently
- Experience supporting senior executives, partners, or founders in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable coordinating meetings, events, and cross-functional logistics
- Ability to draft, edit, and refine professional communications (including dictation and transcription)
- Professional presence when interacting with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Flexibility to support related initiatives and organizations (including GABA) when needed
Preferred Experience:
- Background in a law firm, consulting firm, or international business environment
- Experience supporting executives involved in business development or client-facing roles
- Familiarity with CRM systems and legal management software such as Clio or similar platforms
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Compensation:
- $60,000 - $75,000 annually depending on level of experience
