Bachelor’s degree preferred

Five years experience preferred, preferably some experience in a college environment

Valid driver's license required

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point.
- Ability to learn computer programs including donor and student databases.

Job Tasks - to determine specific tasks required of the position.

Support the President’s Office in whatever ways necessary for the President and Executive Vice President to carry out their responsibilities, meet daily agendas, and attain short-term and long-term goals, exercising good judgment and knowledge of the President’s priorities and preferences.

Serve as a courteous initial point of contact and hostess for the President’s Office and the College in general.

Plan and execute Presidential Events, including Board and Corporation events, collaborating with other departments across campus to provide a hospitable guest-focused experience.

Monitor the President’s Office budget, process payment requests and invoices, and submit credit card receipts and logs.

Place and receive office phone calls, using judgment to direct calls appropriately.
- Assist in managing the president’s email accounts and social media presence.

Manage the president’s contact information.

Manage the president’s calendar including arranging appointments, speaking engagements and committee meetings.
-
Keep the president informed of college events and visitors.

Draft, type and process outgoing correspondence, including proofreading and editing all documents sent out by other departments over the president’s name.

Prepare the president’s public messages, video scripts, and other written and verbal communications including research, typing, editing, and creation of PowerPoint Slides and other visuals.

Receive daily mail; sort and process appropriately.

Become adept with the mechanics of office equipment and maintenance.

Maintain electronic and paper files.

Obtain necessary office supplies.

Manage the appearance and housekeeping of the President’s Office, including snacks, drinks and other hospitality-related items.

Represent the President’s Office in internal and external meetings and on college committees as requested, reporting back to the President.
Assist in other duties whenever called upon as needed for the good and welfare of the total College ministry.
