Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with owner on menu, planning, training, execution of dishes
- Create new dishes
- Produce thoughtful & consistent dishes
- Discover and train talented line cooks
- Manage BOH staffRequirements
- Proficient in English or Spanish
- 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef
- Understanding of various cooking methods & techniques, ingredients, sourcing, equipment, seasoning and procedures
- Understanding of inventory control and food cost
- Excellent record of kitchen and staff management, can work in tight spaces
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
- BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate would be a plus
- ServSafe Certified would be a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
