Executive Chef

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with owner on menu, planning, training, execution of dishes
  • Create new dishes
  • Produce thoughtful & consistent dishes
  • Discover and train talented line cooks
  • Manage BOH staffRequirements
  • Proficient in English or Spanish
  • 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef
  • Understanding of various cooking methods & techniques, ingredients, sourcing, equipment, seasoning and procedures
  • Understanding of inventory control and food cost
  • Excellent record of kitchen and staff management, can work in tight spaces
  • Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
  • BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate would be a plus
  • ServSafe Certified would be a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
