Executive chef

We are looking for a highly skilled Executive Chef who will be responsible for overseeing all bakery and pastry operations within the outlet. This role leads the creation, preparation, and presentation of all baked goods, pastries, desserts, breads, and specialty items while ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, creativity, and food safety. The position requires strong technical expertise in artisanal baking and pastry production, operational leadership, menu development, inventory management, and team supervision.

Education & experience

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in bakery and pastry operations within luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, or high-volume hospitality environments.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or executive pastry role.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of artisanal baking, pastry production, dessert presentation, and chocolate work.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in food costing, inventory management, and waste reduction.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
