We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations and manage the culinary team at our restaurant. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent culinary skills, team management experience, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.
This is a senior executive-level role responsible for overseeing all kitchen functions, menu execution, staff supervision, inventory management, and maintaining an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the entire kitchen team
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Develop and improve menus in coordination with management
- Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier coordination
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Train, schedule, and evaluate kitchen staff performance
- Handle kitchen budgeting and cost control
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of all dishes during service
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Senior Kitchen Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Creativity in menu planning and presentation
- Culinary degree or professional training is preferred
