Your Future Team
Hightower Advisors is seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Director, Head of Corporate Communications to lead firmwide communications, content, and support programming for high-impact events that elevate the Hightower brand, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and support business growth. This role will oversee corporate messaging, media relations, executive communications, internal communications, and corporate content strategy.

What You’ll Do
Corporate & Executive Communications
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate communications strategy aligned with Hightower’s business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on messaging, reputation management, and executive communications.
  • Oversee executive thought leadership, speeches, talking points, announcements, and external presentations.
  • Lead internal communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and engagement across the organization.
  • Manage crisis communications planning and execution in partnership with legal and executive leadership.
Corporate Content Strategy
  • Own and define Hightower’s enterprise-level corporate content strategy across channels, including owned, earned, and shared media.
  • Ensure consistent, storytelling that reinforces Hightower’s brand narrative, value proposition, and strategic priorities.
  • Oversee development of core corporate content, including firm messaging, website content, thought leadership, presentations, and editorial calendars.
  • Establish governance, standards, and measurement for corporate content effectiveness.
  • Media Relations & Public Affairs
  • Oversee media strategy, press relations, and external announcements.
  • Manage relationships with external PR agencies and key media contacts.
  • Ensure consistent, compliant messaging across all external channels.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Build, lead, and mentor a communications, content, and events team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, HR, and other departments.
  • Ensure all communications, content, and events adhere to regulatory and brand standards.
Events Strategy & Execution
  • Own the end-to-end content strategy and oversee execution of Hightower’s corporate events portfolio.
  • Design events that deliver experiences while reinforcing the Hightower brand with focus on agenda and content strategy.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, content, and events leadership.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to advise senior leaders.
  • Experience in RIA or regulated industries preferred.

  • Base salary of $190,000- 205,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)
