Executive Director (RN) – Local Hospice Leadership (1:13 Ratio)

Your Mission (Key Responsibilities):

  • Lead the 5-Star Standard: Oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on compliance and high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Chief Talent Architect: You have the autonomy to hire, mentor, and retain a clinical team that shares our 5-star vision.
  • Strategic Growth: Partner with Liaisons to foster relations with physicians, hospitals, assisted living, and nursing facilities. Promote timely admissions for rapid access to care and support at the point of need.
  • Operational Backbone: Provide ongoing education, ensure regulatory readiness, and implement clinical policies and workflows that work for nurses in the field.

Requirements:

  • Active Texas RN License (Required).
  • Hospice Leadership: Minimum 2 years as a Branch Director, Administrator, or DOO.
  • Regulatory Mastery: Intimate knowledge of TX DADS and Medicare Hospice CoPs.
  • Operational Grit: Experience managing a growing census without sacrificing clinical quality.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable, insured transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and OIG/GSA exclusion screening.

This position requires the candidate to meet all Texas HCSSA Administrator qualifications as defined by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). All bonuses and incentives are subject to the specific terms of Sonder’s 2026 Leadership Incentive Plan agreement.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
