Executive Engineer - Production

Position: Executive Engineer - Production
Department: Manufacturing
Location: S.I.T.E. Karachi

Qualification: B.E. (Mechanical) / Industrial Engineering

Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production operations

Responsibilities:

• Support and oversee production and assembly operations to ensure smooth manufacturing activities
• Monitor production quality through inspection and testing of products and resolve operational issues effectively
• Ensure production schedules are achieved within defined timelines and quality standards
• Regulate workflow and monitor production capacity utilization
• Supervise allocation and distribution of production materials
• Assist in implementation and execution of Operational Excellence / Toyota Production System initiatives including 6S, Kaizen, and QCC
• Coordinate with QA, PED, Facilities, Tool Room, HR, and other departments for smooth operational activities
• Follow up with workshop and maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Monitor machine scheduling, operations, and production controls
• Assist in manpower planning, labor cost control, and factory overhead management
• Conduct on-job training for machine operations, maintenance, and quality checks
• Train, guide, and support production staff on current production methods and productivity improvement initiatives
• Maintain production-related documentation accurately and timely
• Participate in committees including 6S, QCC, Internal Quality Audit, HSE, and TQM
• Perform other assignments as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Requirements & Skills:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of production machines, tools, and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of Operational Excellence / Toyota Production System concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of management and production control techniques
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments
• Strong monitoring, supervision, and documentation skills
