Job Description
Purpose – Why does it exist?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Executive – Accounts & Finance to support the Business Finance and Sales Commercial teams. The role will focus on ensuring accurate financial accounting, reconciliations, accounts receivable, expense monitoring, compliance support, and timely reporting to aid decision-making and business growth.
Key Performance Indicators
Accuracy & Timeliness of Financial Entries:

% accuracy in sales postings for marketplaces, website, and EBOs
-
Timely month-end closure of sales/expense entries
Reconciliations & Collections:
-
Turnaround time for completing sales vs. collection reconciliations (D2C, EBO, B2B).

Reduction in open/unreconciled items in ledgers
-
% of receivables collected within agreed credit period
Expense Monitoring & Provisioning
-
Accuracy of monthly marketplace expense provisions vs. actuals
-
Timely submission of MIS data
Compliance & Audit Support
-
On-time completion of GST, Income Tax, ROC, and other filings
-
Number of audit queries resolved without escalation
Process Improvement / Automation
-
Number of processes automated or improved through ERP within timelines
-
Reduction in manual intervention/error due to automation
Stakeholder Co-Ordination
-
Timely completion of weekly receivable reviews with the business head
-
Feedback from internal stakeholders (Business Finance, Sales, Audit).
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide day-to-day assistance to the Business Finance & Sales Commercial functions.
-
Manage periodic sales postings of online marketplaces and company website.
-
Monitor and reconcile expense invoices related to specific marketplace operations.
-
Prepare monthly marketplace expense provision data and ensure proper actualisation in MIS & accounting records.
-
Perform sales vs. collection reconciliations for D2C website, EBOs, and B2B customer ledgers.

Conduct weekly receivable reviews with the Business Head, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

Provide support in addressing audit queries related to receivables.

Assist in automation of finance and accounting processes in ERP systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support in tax and legal compliances including GST, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory filings
Requirements
Experience & Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CA Inter preferred but not mandatory).

1–3 years of relevant experience in accounts, finance, or commercial roles.
- Prior exposure to e-commerce/marketplace accounting, reconciliations, and compliance support will be a plus.
