Executive General Manager – Contracting Company
Loloah Alshaya General Trading and Contracting Co. is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Executive General Manager to lead the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the company.
The Executive General Manager will oversee all company operations including project management, financial performance, organizational development, and business expansion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction and contracting industry and a proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Lead and execute the company’s strategic vision, operational plans, and growth initiatives.

Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s market presence.

Represent the company with clients, consultants, partners, and government authorities.

Ensure sustainable growth and strong operational performance across all company activities.
Organizational Development & HR Collaboration
-
Collaborate with HR to establish clear roles and responsibilities for all employees.

Define structured organizational frameworks and reporting lines.

Implement a company-wide Performance Management System (PMS).

Establish annual KPIs and performance evaluation systems for all employees.

Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability, professionalism, and results.
Financial & Operational Management
-
Collaborate with the Finance Department to establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to project financial management.

Monitor project budgets, profitability, and cost control mechanisms.

Ensure strong financial governance, cash flow management, and timely client collections.

Oversee financial reporting and ensure project financial health.
Project & Contract Management

Oversee project execution to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Manage project planning, scheduling, and risk mitigation strategies.

Review and approve major contracts, tenders, and project proposals.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulations, and company policies.
Corporate Governance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with all local laws, company policies, and operational procedures.

Provide regular operational and financial reports to the CEO.

Continuously improve operational efficiency and project performance.
Candidate Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's Degree Preferred.

Minimum 12-18 years of experience in construction or contracting companies and knowledge about the Kuwaiti Market.

Strong knowledge of the tendering process and procurement regulations in Kuwait, including familiarity with procedures of the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT).

Proven experience in senior leadership or general management roles.

Strong background in project management, financial oversight, and operational leadership.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Strong understanding of construction contracts, project delivery, and cost control.

Demonstrated experience in tender pricing and bid strategy, with a strong track record of successfully winning competitive tenders through accurate cost estimation, strategic pricing, and deep understanding of project scope and market conditions.

Ability to build and lead high-performing teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
