Position Overview
Draco Strategies is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Executive & Government Affairs Associate to support political consulting, lobbying initiatives, event coordination, and executive operations.
This is an entry-level opportunity for someone interested in government, politics, public affairs, or event strategy who wants hands-on experience working with elected officials, community leaders, businesses, and public figures.
This role is in-person and requires flexibility, responsiveness and a strong work ethic.
What You’ll DoGovernment & Political Support
- Assist with municipal lobbying and government relations projects
- Conduct research on local policy and elected officials
- Prepare briefing documents and meeting notes
- Help coordinate meetings with public officials and stakeholders
Event Planning & Execution
- Support planning and logistics for events involving:
- Elected officials
- Businesses
- Community organizations
- Public figures
- Assist with venue coordination, guest lists, confirmations, and on-site execution
- Help manage post-event follow-up and communications
Executive Support
- Manage scheduling and calendar coordination
- Assist with correspondence and communications
- Help prioritize daily tasks and manage shifting deadlines
- Support administrative and operational needs of the Principal

Compensation & Structure
