Executive Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping department to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation and guest satisfaction. This position leads, trains, and supervises housekeeping staff, ensures adequate inventory of supplies and enforces standards in guest rooms, public areas, and back of house.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Manage and train housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events and guest needs.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all items are stocked and in good working condition.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Implement safety protocols for cleaning procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality setting is essential.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, industrial cleaning practices, and janitorial procedures.
• Previous custodial experience is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of effective cleaning practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and motivation.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
