· Prepares capital and operational expenditure budgets for Housekeeping.

· Strive to achieve the assigned targets/KPIs and cascade them amongst all management staff. Conduct performance reviews and progressive discipline.

· Executive Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and hygiene, orderliness and appearance of entire hotel while ensuring staff adheres to all hotel excellence standards, policies and guidelines

· Supervises the maintenance and appearance of guests’ rooms, cleanliness of back-of-house common areas and public areas and sees that all housekeeping personnel are carrying out the duties assigned to them.

· Responsible for organizing accounts and general storage of linen, uniforms and fixed assets.

· Pay proper attention while organizing pest-eradicating activities.

· Responsible for on-the-job training and its effectiveness.

· Responsible for maintenance and condition of furnishing, drapes, carpets and bedspreads in guest bedrooms and public areas.

· Works closely with the Front office to maintain flow of clean rooms for resale, responsible for checking VIP rooms.

· Conducts weekly meetings with all housekeeping staff.

· Assists management in the selection of rooms for partial and complete renovation, and maintains room condition records.

· Responsible for the control of all cleaning equipment.

· Handles guests’ requests and complaints concerning service and comfort and follows through.

· Must immediately respond to guest complaints.

· Maintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with the Front Office and other departments of the hotel.

· Select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline all employees in the department. Along with conducting staff appraisals to provide regular feedback to all staff.

· To have all departmental/leave rosters built into the Time and Attendance (T&A) system and ensure that the T&A system is the only source available for the calculation of payroll.

· Must be able to retain the good repute and image of the company.

· To assign, supervise, control and manage the tasks while ensuring an independent application of mind.

Education

Graduate

Experience

8-10 years. Minimum 2 years in a similar role.

Preferred

Hospitality and Hotel Management background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
