Role Overview
The Executive - Leads & Inside Sales will be the first point of contact for iDream Education's B2B leads. The primary goal is to receive, address and handle the leads, and then pass them onto the relevant sales team person for sales process and closure. Along with receiving and managing the leads, the key additional part of the role would be to conduct high-quality outbound calling, qualify leads, and secure introductory meetings/webinars for the senior sales and business development team. This is a target-driven role requiring excellent communication and persistence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Engagement & Qualification
- Receiving and Managing Leads: Receive and address all inbound calls and leads being received by the company, introduce the company, our solutions and understand/record the requirements of the lead. Then transfer the lead to the relevant sales team member while recording the details into the lead master.
- Outbound Calling: Proactively call prospective leads and clients from target segments (Govt Departments, NGOs, CSR Foundations), and request for demonstrations and meetings for the sales team.
- Outbound Emails: Write emails to prospective leads and clients from target segments and pursue for meetings/demonstrations
- Qualify Leads: Use a structured script and active listening to determine the client's needs, budget, authority, and timeline (BANT framework) to ensure they are a good fit for a sales meeting. [BANT - Budget, Authority, Need and Timeline]
- Product Pitch: Clearly and persuasively articulate the social impact and educational value of iDream Education's products and solutions to inbound leads and key decision-makers.
2. Sales & Appointment Setting
- Appointment Setting: Successfully secure virtual or in-person meetings/demonstrations for the Business Development and Field Sales Managers.
- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volume, call-to-qualification conversion, and appointment setting.
- Follow-up: Maintain consistent follow-up with warm leads via call, email, and WhatsApp to keep the sales pipeline moving forward.
3. Data & Reporting
- CRM Management: Accurately log all call activity, outcomes, key conversation details, and updated client information in the CRM system (e.g., Spreadsheets, ClickUp)
- Reporting: Prepare and submit daily progress reports on call performance, lead status, and successful appointments to the Sales Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Experience: 6 months to 2 years of experience in Inbound Lead Management/Outbound Tele-calling/Telesales, preferably in a B2B Business Domain.
- Education: A Bachelor's / Masters degree in a relevant field or any discipline. Freshers with exceptional communication skills and a relevant academic background will be considered.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in Hindi and English (fluency is mandatory in both languages) with clear diction and a professional tone suitable for interacting with senior management.
- Digital Proficiency: Basic working knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Google Sheets), Emails, and experience / willingness to quickly learn CRM tool / software.
- Temperament: High levels of patience, persistence, and resilience to handle frequent objections and rejections in the B2B sales cycle.
- Personality traits and other qualities: Active listening, Customer service oriented, Confident, Positive Attitude, Time management, Problem solving, documentation of calls and lead follow-ups
Good-to-Have
- Familiarity with the Indian education sector (K-12, CSR, or Government projects).
- Prior experience in a target-driven environment.
