JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Purpose

To effectively track and manage land-related litigation, coordinate with external advocates and government authorities, and ensure timely compliance with court orders and legal procedures related to land and revenue matters.

Key Responsibilities

A. Land Litigation Tracking & Management

· Track and monitor land-related cases before Civil Courts, High Courts, Revenue Tribunals, BL & LRO proceedings, and other statutory authorities.

· Maintain updated records of case status, next dates of hearing, filings, and court orders.

· Prepare and maintain a litigation tracker/MIS for management review.

B. Advocate Coordination & Court Follow-ups

· Coordinate with external advocates for drafting, filing, and follow-up of pleadings, affidavits, and applications.

· Track hearing dates, filings, orders, and compliances across all cases.

· Collect certified copies of orders and judgments and circulate internally.

C. Compliance & Documentation

· Ensure timely compliance with court directions, interim orders, and final judgments.

· Assist in preparation of case notes, briefs, and summaries for senior management.

· Maintain proper documentation of all legal correspondence and records.

D. Coordination with Authorities & Police

· Liaise with BL & LRO offices, Revenue Departments, and other local authorities for land and title-related matters.

· Coordinate with local police stations for complaints, verifications, legal intimations, and assistance related to land issues and litigation.

· Follow up on police reports, acknowledgements, and related documentation.

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university (mandatory).

Experience

· 2–5 years of experience in handling land, revenue, and civil litigation.

· Exposure to court procedures, revenue authorities, and advocate coordination is essential.

· Experience in real estate or infrastructure sector preferred.

Key Deliverables

· Updated and accurate litigation tracker with zero missed hearing dates.

· Timely coordination with advocates for filings and compliances.

· Effective liaison with revenue authorities and police stations.

· Periodic legal status reports submitted to the Legal Head.

Profile Fit

· Qualification: LLB

· Experience: 2–5 years in land and revenue litigation

· Skills: Legal coordination, documentation, court follow-ups, authority liaison

· Traits: Detail-oriented, disciplined, proactive, strong follow-up skills

Reporting & Coordination

· Reports To: Manager / Head – Legal

· Coordinates With: External advocates, revenue authorities, police stations, internal legal and project teams

Success Definition

All land-related legal matters are proactively tracked, compliances are completed on time, and coordination with advocates and authorities is seamless—ensuring minimal legal risk and complete visibility of litigation status to management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
