POSITION: Executive Meetings Manager
DIVISION: Sales & Marketing
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
The Executive Meetings Manager is responsible for proactively generating and managing small group business (10–45 guest rooms) and executive meetings. This role combines sales, planning, and on-site coordination, acting as the primary point of contact for clients while collaborating cross-functionally with hotel departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Full-Cycle Sales & Planning
Proactively solicit, book, and manage small group programs and executive meetings
Respond to inquiries within defined service level agreements (4–24 hours)
Negotiate contracts and secure signed agreements to achieve revenue goals
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact from inquiry through post-event follow-up
Manage all aspects of the client experience including room blocks, meeting space, and food and beverage
Deliver a seamless, high-touch planning experience reflective of PUBLIC’s brand
Event Detailing & Documentation
Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), floor plans, and group resumes
Communicate all event details clearly to internal departments
Ensure accuracy and alignment across all operational teams
Revenue Optimization
Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue goals
Upsell audio-visual services, enhanced menus, and additional hotel offerings
Identify opportunities to maximize profitability across all booked programs
On-Site Coordination
Attend and oversee events to ensure flawless execution
Serve as the on-site contact for clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues in real time
Partner with Culinary, Banquets, Front Office, and Housekeeping to deliver exceptional service
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $90,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives aligned with revenue goals and business objectives.
WORK SCHEDULE
Due to the nature of this role, flexibility is required to support client events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
1–3 years of experience in hotel sales, catering, or event management preferred
Technical Proficiency
Experience with hospitality CRM and PMS systems such as Delphi, StayNTouch, or Opera required
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to manage a high volume of inquiries with quick turnaround times
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to balance sales prospecting with event execution responsibilities
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to move throughout the property for extended periods
Conduct site tours and attend on-site meetings and events
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25–30 lbs
OVERVIEW
The Executive Meetings Manager (EMM) is a hybrid sales and operations role responsible for managing the full lifecycle of small group and executive-level meetings. This position serves as a dedicated “one-stop-shop” for clients, overseeing programs from initial inquiry and contract negotiation through on-site execution and final billing.
The EMM plays a critical role in driving short-term group revenue while ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience aligned with PUBLIC’s service standards. This role requires agility, strong sales acumen, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
