Job Summary
The House of Light Church is seeking a committed, organized, and spiritually aligned individual to serve as a Part-Time Executive Ministry Assistant. This role exists to support the Pastor and church leadership by managing administrative, communication, and organizational responsibilities—allowing leadership to remain focused on spiritual guidance, teaching, and shepherding. This is more than an administrative role—it is a ministry of support, order, and connection within the life of the church.
This role is intended for someone actively engaged in the life of The House of Light Church, including consistent Sunday participation. Occasional light support before or after service may be requested to help ensure a spirit of excellence and connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to church email communications, routing messages as appropriate
- Coordinate weekly announcements and church-wide communications
- Maintain organized records, contact lists, and key church documents
- Assist with scheduling for the Pastor and ministry activities
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and special initiatives
- Provide light administrative support for payroll and financial tracking (in coordination with the Bookkeeper and Payroll company)
- Help develop and maintain simple systems that improve organization and efficiency
- Be present on Sundays to support service flow and overall coordination
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and follow-ups for ministry and leadership meetings
- Track action items and ensure follow-through on key church initiatives and assignments
- Assist in preparing documents, presentations, and materials for sermons, events, and church communications

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
