Nanny / Household Manager (Full-Time, Guaranteed Hours)

A thoughtful, high-functioning family is seeking a professional, nurturing, and highly organized Nanny/Household Manager to become a steady, trusted presence in their home.

With demanding careers in healthcare and engineering, the family values consistency, clear communication, and a calm, well-run environment, and is looking for someone who naturally brings those qualities into their work.

They have two children, ages 3 and 6, and are looking for someone who enjoys balancing meaningful childcare with creating flow and organization within the home.

Position Details:

Start Date: May 18, 2026

Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM

40 hours guaranteed

$20–$22/hour (based on experience)

PTO + paid holidays

The Role:

This is a thoughtful hybrid position that blends proactive household management with engaged, hands-on childcare.

Household Manager Responsibilities (12:00–2:00 PM)

Creating flow, preparedness, and calm within the home

Including, but not limited to:

Preparing lunches and dinners for the week

Setting out school clothes and prepping for the following day

Grocery ordering, organization, and restocking

Maintaining household inventory and systems

General tidying and organization of shared spaces

This portion of the day is about setting the afternoon up for success—anticipating needs and creating an environment where the family can fully exhale at the end of the day.

Nanny Responsibilities (2:00–7:00 PM)

Connection, guidance, and consistent routines

School pick-up and transportation to activities (tutoring, sports, etc.)

Planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities (with an emphasis on outdoor play when possible)

Preparing balanced, healthy dinners for the children

Supporting homework and daily routines

Maintaining minimal screen time and encouraging independent play

By the end of the day, the goal is a home that feels reset and children who feel cared for, capable, and ready for rest.

End-of-Day Rhythm (by 7:00 PM)

Main living areas, playroom, and children’s spaces are tidy

Children are bathed and in sleepwear

Kitchen is reset (dishwasher loaded, counters wiped, trash handled if needed)

Children will be gently guided to participate in age-appropriate responsibilities, fostering independence, confidence, and contribution within the home.

We’re seeking someone who:

Has 3+ years of full-time nanny experience

Is organized, proactive, and dependable

Communicates clearly and professionally

Takes initiative and anticipates needs

Enjoys creating structure while maintaining a warm, supportive presence

Values teaching independence, respect, and responsibility through daily routines
