Position available at Kerzner International's One&Only The Palm resort in Dubai.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Director of Culinary, the Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for the running of the pastry and bakery kitchens at the Resort with the aim of maintaining the established standards, ensuring profitability, and achieving maximum guest satisfaction. The role also involves elevating the pastry kitchen through innovation, precision, and artistry.

Qualifications

Suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the Director of Culinary and he/she should have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position in luxury resorts or five-star hotels. He/she will be responsible for the running of the pastry and bakery kitchens at the Resort with the aim off maintaining the established standards, ensuring profitability, and achieving maximum guest satisfaction. Ability to work in a multicultural and challenging working environment, who can lead, supervise, and motivate his/her staff to the highest professional standards with care and attention to detail and in accordance with the standard operating procedures established. Excellent spoken and written English is required. An additional language is a plus.
