- Preferably a foreigner with the expertise in his domain.
- Oversee the pastry department: Manage the creation and execution of all pastry items, ensuring high-quality desserts and baked goods.
- Develop and maintain menus: Create and design new dessert menus that align with the restaurant's brand and seasonal ingredients.
- Train and supervise staff: Hire, train, and manage pastry chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring they are properly trained in pastry techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory and costs: Oversee inventory levels, manage ordering, and ensure cost control while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with other chefs: Work with executive chefs and other departments for coordinated menu planning and kitchen operations.
This role requires a blend of creative culinary skills, leadership, and attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of quality in all pastry items.
