JOB OBJECTIVE:


The Executive, Project Charters & Documentation, actively supports the operational aspects of project planning and documentation within the Corporate Strategy & Performance sector. This hands-on role involves developing, reviewing, and maintaining project charters with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and industry standards. The Executive collaborates with project teams to enhance clarity and accuracy, fostering a culture of excellence in project documentation for the seamless execution of strategic initiatives.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Core Functional Responsibilities & Subject Matter Expertise

  • Contribute to the development of project planning and documentation methodologies.
  • Support alignment of methodologies with PMBOK guidelines and leading practices.
  • Engage in operational reviews of proposed strategic projects for alignment with overall strategy.
  • Collaborate with Strategy & Planning and other departments during project initiation phases.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of project charters, ensuring comprehensive content including scope, objectives, risks, and governance.
  • Provide direct support to project managers and business owners in developing effective project plans and charters.
  • Focus on enhancing the quality and effectiveness of project management across DET.
  • Offer operational insights for the identification and planning of strategic initiatives.
  • Actively maintain project documentation in a central repository.
  • Organize and manage access to project documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with allinvolved in the Project Charters & Documentation process.
  • Provide support to the Manager in leading and mentoring the Project Charters & Documentation team.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Project Charters & Documentation.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improving personal skills and competencies in Project Charters & Documentation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certified in PMP is a plus.
