Overview
Join our dynamic security team as an Executive Protection Agent, where your primary mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of high-profile clients and executives. This role demands vigilance, professionalism, and quick decision-making to proactively prevent threats and respond effectively to emergencies. You will be the frontline guardian, providing discreet, comprehensive protection while maintaining a calm and confident presence at all times. Your expertise will help create a secure environment that allows our clients to focus on their priorities with peace of mind.
Duties
- Threat & Risk Assessment: Continuously evaluate potential threats and vulnerabilities to develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Advance Planning: Conduct site reconnaissance, plan secure travel routes, and prepare emergency and contingency plans before client arrival.
- Close Protection: Provide a physical security presence and immediate protective response during travel, movements, and events.
- Crisis Management: Execute rapid, decisive actions during emergencies, including medical incidents, security breaches, or hostile situations.
- Secure Transportation: Arrange and provide secure transport, including defensive and evasive driving capabilities.
- Liaison Duties: Coordinate with law enforcement, local authorities, venue staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Surveillance & Counter‑Surveillance: Conduct surveillance, detection, and counter‑surveillance to identify, deter, and mitigate threats.
Experience
One Security’s ideal candidate possesses one or more of the following:
- 5+ years as a full‑time certified law enforcement officer (Federal, State, or Local).
- HR‑218 (LEOSA) or GA Blue Card eligibility strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of close protection/executive protection experience supporting government officials, CEOs, or other high‑visibility clients. Experience in Corporate, Technology, Military, or Law Enforcement Protective Services Details (PSD) is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of military experience — all branches welcome.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, threat detection, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; additional qualifications in conflict management are a plus.
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail for documenting incidents and security procedures.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions in high-stakes situations.
- Familiarity with security technology systems and surveillance equipment enhances effectiveness in this role.
