Executive Sous Chef - In-Room Dining

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join the resort's In-Room Dining team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Innovate menus while adhering to the outlet concept.

Maintain consistent Wynn food quality standards.

Monitor and improve consistency of food quality to enhance overall customer experience.

Ensure standards and policies are available for staff to create and maintain a safe workplace and environment.

Identify, rectify, and report promptly and decisively actual and potential problems to ensure workplace and environmental safety.

Ensure direct reports conform to Wynn policies and procedures and take responsibility for reporting any actual or potential issues while maintaining integrity.

Lead the team to contribute to the organization by defining roles, purpose, responsibility, and accountabilities, and monitor performance.

Maintain consistency of performance across varying conditions to maintain trust and confidence.

Uphold Wynn core values in conducting business.

Maintain budgeted food cost and actively monitor labor costs, cost of goods, and other expenses.

About You:

Ability to perform high-quality job standards with attention to detail, creativity, speed, and accuracy.

Must demonstrate creative and artistic approaches to plate presentations and research new products and menu items regularly.

Ability to direct and lead staff.

Ability to work well with a team and be willing to assist in all phases of the operation.

Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through to meet deadlines and production schedules.
