Job Description:

JD: QA Executive/ Sr. Executive QA (CMU Operation)
Description:
QA Executive is responsible for end to end strategizing and maintaining the quality standards by keeping a check on the process, material, timelines etc.
Education: Post Graduate/Graduate in food technology or MSc Chemistry.
Experience: 3-6 Years, preferable if the person has a stint with a good FMCG organization on Chocolate / Confectionery category
Key Responsibilities/Work Areas:
  • Coordinate with DSHQ team and CMU operation team to ensure implementation of Quality & Food Safety standards and their consistent compliances i.e. HACCP, Traceability, GMP, Regulatory/ Statuary compliances etc.
  • Ensure all incoming raw and packing materials are from approved vendors and verified against standard specifications.
  • Conduct in-process Quality checks and finished goods inspection.
  • Drive a skill & competence building program at the shop floor to achieve consistent shop floor practices.
  • Responsible for handling various documentation related to Quality & Food Safety.
  • Ensuring products are complying with Legal Metrology and Food safety standards.
  • To oversee the overall GMP and to ensure the quality rating of the CMU at the targeted levels.
  • Responsible for end to end strategizing and maintaining the quality standards by keeping a check on the process, material, timelines etc.
  • Monitor and control cost variance including material usage variances and wastages.
  • Supporting various NPD & Trials projects with R&D /site team.
  • Ensuring products at CMU are being produced as per standard recipe.
  • Producing statistical reports on quality standards.
  • Escalating Quality & Food Safety issues with top management.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and developing corrective and Preventive action plans for shop-floor quality & Food Safety issues and for customer complaints.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Compliance to product parameters as per specifications. – 100% for RM & FG
  • Continuous improvements in quality KPIs such as DPM, RFT etc.
  • Weekly/monthly Quality reporting as per the agreed checklist
  • Ensure the quality plan is updated and adhered to
