- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of all construction materials, equipment, and consumables; conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Material Handling: Receive, inspect (for quality and quantity), store, and issue materials to site teams and subcontractors, ensuring proper documentation (e.g., Goods Receipt Notes in ERP/SAP).
- Procurement Coordination: Coordinate with the procurement team to monitor stock levels, prepare indents (requisitions), place orders with suppliers, and track delivery schedules to avoid shortages.
- Logistics & Operations: Oversee the organization, cleanliness, and security of the store area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of all store transactions and generate regular reports on stock levels, consumption, and metrics for management.
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems (like SAP MM), and MS Excel.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with various teams and suppliers.
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of the job (lifting, moving items) and work in a fast-paced environment.
